Mirror Recognition: The Minimum Symmetric Field Closure

Seven addressed bands contain four basis seams each; their projections resolve the identity.

final form v1.0, 11 Sep 2026

Construction

Vertices are {∞} ∪ Z/7Z. M_ℓ = {{∞,ℓ}} ∪ {{ℓ+j,ℓ−j}: j=1,2,3}, modulo 7. Each sector is divided into four equal editorial slots, one per basis seam; sectors are labeled 0 through 6 in the source color order. The inner graph plots matching M₀ on eight vertices. Seven 4-dimensional matching subspaces partition the 28-dimensional wedge basis.

Scope

A diagram of the exact finite decomposition. Sector angles and radii are layout choices; they do not encode state-dependent band energy. Original artwork is retained separately.
