The question, the tools, and the retained record.
The project began with a personal effort to make experience and contact easier to read. Written reference tools became diagrams, comparison rules, formal constructions and executable instruments.
Self-help supplied practical questions: what is happening, what relation matters, what has changed, and what can be carried into the next action? The work grew through repeated attempts to give those questions readable and testable forms.
Locate the present comparison, its reference and the conditions under which it can be read.
Apply the declared reader again and distinguish its returned result from the changed state.
Keep the source, difference, result and occurrence available for a later comparison.
The personal history explains how the questions arose. Each formal result carries its own definitions, hypotheses and evidence. Revisions remain part of the record.
The sequence below is a concise retrospective. Dates printed in surviving manuscripts and the versioned current sources provide its document anchors.
Coppa describes the origin as self-help and contact: building reference tools to read experience, notice recurring relations and guide the next action. Reading Wittgenstein supplied a sustained interest in language, use and the boundary of an assertion.
Meaning Is the Memory of Return, The Cathedral and The Theory That Holds establish the early vocabulary. These are dated historical documents, with their original language and attribution retained.
Repeated Structure of Survival drafts examine motion, recognizable return and endurance through change. Language Mechanics begins to condense the inquiry into an operational grammar.
The formal work makes the carrier, jurisdiction, permitted operation and reader explicit. Condition & Constraint and the dihedral constructions supply separately stated definitions and hypotheses.
Four-phase return, lifted state and occurrence records become distinct constructions. The emphasis moves toward explicit maps, finite witnesses, tests and counterexamples.
Mirror Recognition, Metric Mirror Symmetry and Contact Recognition refine comparison and stopping rules. The Structure of Survival review editions consolidate the source, dependencies, proofs and verification record.
These editions retain the early language and questions in their original form. The Library holds the current formal editions and their source records.
Full surviving April edition

A compact alternate from the original corpus. Its closing date is 30 April 2025; the volume number records editorial placement.
Original Volume I witness
An early architectural vocabulary of relation, pressure, return and meaning. The original document and its printed attribution are retained.
Original Volume IV witness
An early sequence on coherence, continuation and the structure of return. Its composition and revision dates remain as printed in the source.
Composition date, revision date and editorial volume order are recorded separately. A later formulation can clarify an earlier question while the earlier document remains a historical witness.
