Construction

The figure uses the manuscript’s signed form g(z,z) = zᵀGz. In the positively oriented orthonormal eigenbasis (u₊,u₋) of G, this is √5(u₊²−u₋²). The two plotted branches u₋ = ±√(u₊²+1), −2 ≤ u₊ ≤ 2, therefore read g(z,z) = −√5. The page scales are declared affine drawing coordinates. The design follows the restrained diagram style of Minimum Enduring Complexity while retaining this synthesis’s fixed root G = [Q,Ω], G² = 5I. The earlier Sturgeon-emblem cover is retained separately as an alternate.

Scope
